New York [US], October 2: US stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the S&P 500 rebounding from a two-week low as a global bond selloff that had pushed US Treasury yields to multi-decade highs eased.
The S&P 500 gained 17.28 points, or 0.23 percent, to 7,668.82, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 17.73 points, or 0.07 percent, to 26,871.60. The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 29.84 points, or 0.06 percent, to 50,935.89
