Udaipur (Rajasthan) [India], April 2: Private aviation traffic at Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur, has recorded noticeable rise over the past year, reflecting the growing demand for charter services and private aviation, premium leisure travel, and high-profile destination events. Udaipur's positioning as one of India's leading luxury tourism and destination wedding locations continues to support aviation demand. The city regularly hosts large-scale premium events and international leisure groups, often requiring multiple business jet and charter aircraft movements within short operational windows.
Further capacity improvements are expected with the development of upgraded terminal infrastructure at the airport. The expansion is projected to enhance passenger growth in scheduled services, and improve operational flexibility for both commercial and private aviation.
